Our SR2 rated steel doors are certified to LPS 1175 level 2, Secured by Design approved and are specifically designed for properties that require and benefit from enhanced security & fire escape measures such as schools, university’s, communal housing & retail outlets.

Custom made with a maximum width of 2.6m and height of 2.93m, the door is manufactured from 1.5mm zintec/galvanised steel for both the attack face and inner face the door leaf includes an astragal to the locking side.

For additional strength, the door is fitted with double hinges and an anti-leverage cover strip to the closing edge of the door leaf.

A wide range of customisation options including polyester powder coating in a range of colours and finishes available, vision panels, punched louvres, range of stays and closers (TS83 and Z108 as standard) & fixed side and removable panels.

Certified to LPS 1175: Issue 7 Security Rating 2, these door sets provide defence against opportunist attacks. Equivalent to EN1627 RC2-RC4 (no glass). To achieve SR2 accreditation, doors are attacked using tools with a high mechanical advantage, such as a hand drill, junior hacksaw and a claw hammer.
