Available in 4 stock sizes, our Secured by Design Fire Exit Door is tested to STS202 BR2 and accredited by Secured by Design.
Our heavy-duty construction features 2 horizontal and 2 vertical steel channel reinforcements which ensure an extremely rigid door leaf and double up as thicker fixing positions for the panic hardware.
The integral astragal is formed by folding the inner and outer skins back on themselves, creating a 2.4mm thickness of steel at the point which takes a crowbar attack.
Supplied in Latham’s white as standard, choose from a wide range of stock colours to personalise your secured-by-design fire exit door. Alternatively, you can choose a bespoke custom colour.
Our outside access device options get an upgraded kitemark euro cylinder from standard to assist against snapping, picking and bumping attacks.
This door passed the STS202 BR3 test without the outside access device, but we chose to only certify the door to BR2 for ease of covering both with and without OAD options.

What is Security Trim?
The security trim kit fits around the perimeter of the door frame, preventing any packing from being seen externally and making the door as a whole more secure.
It hides un-level or large gaps, hides the position of fixings eliminating the risk of tampering from intruders and crucially protects the fixings from attack.
